A while back a bee was calming to have made cat that way. I forget exactly who but there was extensive posting on it. Outcome I'm not sure of but I bet thats what zorilla's friend had in mind. Tighten Up! (UH) |

i did this using an unkown strength of h2o2 (purified by freezing) and it worked. this is the only method i used for cat so i have no comparison to the other methods but suspect they would provide better yeilds and less by products |

peroxide...i didnt really work did it? i had that thought about 4 years ago. thought this would bee the simplest way to oxidize pure E. then i made cat outta cromic oxides and realized it sucked. Don't you think if I had something intelligent to say, it would bee in my post? |

Some bees are inquiring about turning cat into meth to avoid reactions with Rp because of it being hard to get now days.. If it does work and the reaction to convert cat to meth is doable I think the combination would go hand in hand... Tighten Up! (UH) |

yes my friend was trying to make cat.he ... (Rated as: dangerous) |

yes my friend was trying to make cat.he ingested some orally even though it tastes of peroxide.there was no effect so the experiment must have failed.... |

do you have any refs for a methcathinone to methamphetamine synth? id like to see one for fun. Don't you think if I had something intelligent to say, it would bee in my post? |

Protection is necessary | |||||||
I don't know of any route which reduces unprotected methcathinone to methamphetamine. Of course there are methods of reducing methcathinone to methamphetamine, but they either go via two steps with ephedrine as an intermediate compound or require - at the least - acetylation of the amine function of methcathinone to stop side-reactions ruining the molecule instead of the desired reduction occurring. In other words, oxidising ephedrine to methcathinone is only useful if you want methcathinone. If you have access to a poor range of chemicals then you won't be able to stop side-reactions during the reduction of methcathinone, and if you have access to a large range of chemicals, you would never choose such a byzantine method. |
