To all you Oz bees out their make sure you vote for the greens.
Seeing the greens to power will help bring a long fighting war into perspective.
Make sure you follow the link and read the policies as these people really have their heads together when it comes to drugs.
If we get them into power and these policies pull through it will definitely be a landmark moment and hopefully we can make other countries realize the truth aswell.

Abstract

2. Goals The Australian Greens will work towards:
2.1 developing more appropriate classifications for drugs based upon their effects on health
2.2 making relevant information about drugs widely available
2.3 removing criminal sanctions for personal drug use
2.4 addressing the underlying causes of substance abuse and wider issues such as unemployment, homelessness, isolation, domestic violence, depression and limited life options
2.5 promoting community-strengthening programs that engage communities to work together to address the underlying issues relating to substance abuse
2.6 providing access to community-based counselling and support services for substance abusers, without condemnation, including adequate follow-up.
