Here's a good question that I don't believe has been asked on this board in quite some time. But you can be assured that it's been asked elsewhere.
Is there a way to actually download the updates from Microsoft and then install them without having to be connected to the internet?
Something like Internet Explorer 6.0 maybe a simple 2Mb download, but then it connects to the internet and wants to download another 75Mb to complete the installation.

|Download the network update installer.|
Download the network update installer.
It's a big file, but does all the updates in one go, offline.
Which is how you should update your PC anyways me thinks!
