Photo's to Drug Store??!!!! another Bust... | ||||||

Well, just incase someone has been asleep at the wheel for the last 10 years (as is this instance) a story for all.. A friend has a nice place in the country, in which the brother comes to live.. Everyone get medical marijuana cards and grower's certificates.. A nice little patch is setup w/ 100 plants. Moron brother finishes off the last 5 shots in his camera shooting closeups of the Medical Pot, ( who DOESN"T have a digital camera these days???) and sends it in to the local drug store.. Said local drug store, having been thoroughly brainwashed by local L.E. looking for drugs under the guise of "Child Porn" , promptly calls local LE and delivers the photos. Drug store claims to brother that the photo's were "lost". ( A civil action against the drug store chain is now in progress by the excellent attorney that was hired). Friend has a FoF who's wife is so completely brain fried from meth, that she calls up local and federal LE and claims hubby is biggest cook in state, writes letter to govenor etc.. totally out of control.. (this person will probably not be breathing for long due to violating the hubby's muscle's parole, who got slammed but is now out). Anyway due to association blah blah.. friends property became "a property of interest" to the county sheriff who coatailed in on the local LE warrant. So for 100 plants, 40-50 le's half fully swatted out, w/ 5 dog teams show up to search the property.. Plants are seized. Alarm devices are classified as booby traps. Medical marijuana permits are ignored. ( this is not a fed case). House and trailer are tossed. Some meth ( < gm) was found in trailer, no one knows who's it was, since they are pot heads...but trailer occupants got charged for that one.. House is searched, all paper files are searched, reciepe for GHB dated 1992 is seized. ( Note not to leave hardcopy around). All guns are confiscated, but the gun safe is ripped out of the wall and tossed upside down.. the house is completely trashed, which is way beyond what was necessary for a search.. this "tossing" occured after the search was completed and cops were standing around.. Friend went down for booking, came back to find it had been "tossed". So that was pure vindictiveness on LE's part. Nothing other than plants and the small amt of Meth was found. Everyone got slapped with felonies, which insures that a lawyer will be hired.. Obviously the association w/ other parties figured into the degree of LE response. However, the plants were about a week away from harvest, the Medical Marijuana paper work is in good order, and the attny thinks that not only will the charges be tossed out, but the locals will be on the hook for the value of Pot if the case is dismissed. The last time local LE did this, and destroyed the Medical Marijuana, it cost them about $250,000 in damages in that county So the point of all of this is, never send your photo's into the drug store for developing if you don't want the local police department to be looking at them. Second, never ever show anyone your plants, so that you don't have to worry about alarm systems... Third, when there is that much heat from "associates" maybe it's time to wonder why your still associating with them.... Infinite Radiant Light - THKRA |
