One pot shot amphetamine success!

One pot shot amphetamine route on rhod's site worked pretty well. However, after acidifying the solution a girl kept the washings aside hoping that some P2P would be in store for later. The next day suprise was about because it could be seen that the entire container of what was thought to be P2P was long sharp needles! These were dissolved in ether, gassed, solvent removed , then recrystalized from IPA into a lvely white snow, with an IR that remarkably is very close to the web IR for amphetamine, and the melting point is somewhere close to 100C, suprisingly, the acidic water which was then based, and extracted with DCM and gassed has shown nothing. VEry odd, comments?
