Checking solubility of salts | ||||||
Hi All, I am wondering how to figure out the soluability of particular salts in various solvents? Right now I am thinking of recrystalizing my dxm hcl and wondering what solvent I should try.. I've heard of you guys quoting stuff from the merck index. Would it contain stuff like this? I suppose its probably a must for anyone attempting experiements at home ... Thanks.. |

The Merck index contains informations about many chemical compounds. Along these is also the solubility in various solvents. ![]() But the merck isn't very good; it often contains wrong or erroneous info, or simply lacks it... ![]() indole_amine |
